Piramitleri inşa eden kavim iskit - khmer kavmidir. Bu kavmin merkezi asya - pasifik bölgesidir. İlk inşa edilen piramitler, bu bölgede bulunan çin piramitleridir. İskit - khmer kavmi zamanla ikiye bölünmüştür. İskit kökenli toplumlar dünyanın kuzeyine ve khmer kökenli toplumlar dünyanın güneyine hakim olmuşlardır. İskit erkekleri ataerkil beyaz toplumların atasıdır. Khmer kadınları ise anaerkil siyahi toplumların anasıdır.
