İlkçağ felsefesinde, atomcu Demokritos tarafından kurulmuş olan ve adını Güney Makedonya'daki bir kentten alan okul. Trakya'da bulunan Abderalı meşhur Yunanlı filozoflar arasında Demokritos, Leukippos ve Protogoras yer almakla beraber, Abdera Okulu'nun üyesi olarak değerlendirilen filozoflar esasen, mekanik materyalizmin savunuculuğunu yaparken, varlığın atomlarla atomların içinde hareket ettikleri boşluktan meydana geldiğini öne süren Demokritos'la Leukippos'tur.
